Scott’s next move was owning and operating a mitigation franchise where he used his many years in the service industry to grow that business. Scott holds a BA. Diego Garcia graduated with a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business and did his undergrad in Financial Economics at Columbia University in New York City. Prior to becoming a business broker, Diego worked in various roles across the financial capital markets ranging from investment banking to wealth and investment management. His experience facilitating deals for pre-IPO tech and social media companies has enabled him to take an innovative approach to main street mergers & acquisitions when it comes to deal strategy, structure, and technical financial expertise. Currently, Diego is a candidate for the Certified Financial Planner designation, which he plans to utilize to complement business brokerage with financial planning for small businesses in order to facilitate optimal exit strategies for small business owners.
